I think industrial/electronic music taught me that production can't make something catchy to me. It can make it "cool", but it can't make me hum a chorus to myself all day. What makes the chorus so catchy is the production, not the vocal melody. 'Bad Attraction', on the other hand, is catchy on both fronts.
