Neither of them sound all that great at having a scholarly argument (hey, an encyclopedia calls for such things, right?), but I agree with FightMaster Jr.. I’m biased, obviously.

It’s difficult to contribute to a Wiki, despite what folks might imagine. Much like a newspaper, the content is tightly controlled by iron-fisted editors who have their own set of interests to preserve. There’s nothing democratic about it.

That being said, my advise would be to forget about it. Few people who have interest in Song Fight will find out about it through Wikipedia. It’s like getting irritated over a mediocre album review in a gardening magazine.

i think it boils down more to the editor of the piece didn’t like being questioned about his “editing”, no matter how off it was. he seemed to think songfight should be grateful for any sort of mention, accurate or not. his defensive reaction makes me also think he’s probably been questioned before.
