I turned 31 yesterday. I’m old as hell! My girlfriend gave me an Xbox 360 though so I’ve got a lot of game-playing to do. I’ve got Halo 3 and I believe I shall be subscribing to Xbox Live — anyone out there playing? What are the good online games?

Honestly, if you want an online experience Halo 3 seems to be the one to go for - it’s going to have busy servers and a big following for a long, long time.
I personally prefer Gears of War’s more tactical, team-based approach to multiplayer (not quite as good as Team Fortress 2 in The Orange Box, but that’s primarily single-player stuff), but it’s likely to be tough to get a full server on since Halo 3 dropped. It’s got a brilliant co-operative campaign mode though.

hey brad, good to see you got one now! Im loving mine yet still 27, at 31 you should start reading books or something. (LOL) But yeah here is a list of GREAT GAMES (not all are really online but all are great)
