I don’t normally “web log” my feelings but I’m actually pretty nervous about this whole CD release. I was all “beh whatever dudes we’ll see how it goes, just another day on the grind you know dog” until a couple hours ago when I became like "!!!! HOLY LORD". It feels like my future "as an artist" sort of hinges on it but then I feel that way about everything.
Honestly, I think the neurotic anxiety has been getting to me for a couple weeks but I’ve had tasks to keep me busy. Two weeks ago I was sleeping away peacefully and then I guess I tore at my forehead with my retarded talons. As you can see from the picture up there I managed to put a two inch scratch in my dome. That ain’t relaxed behavior.
The CD release party is tomorrow night. It’s sort of a drag though, you folks who read my blog and have been with me for a long time are not generally in my town so you won’t be there. So that part breaks my heart kinda because I love you guys okay now the vodka’s talking catch you later.

Man that sucks. I know first-hand that it’s extremely hard for a creator to release his or her work. I’ve also noticed that creators with an established audience actually have more problems with release anxiety.
I’m afraid I have no advise. I still suffer release anxiety myself and no one really knows me. All I can say is you probably don’t have anything to worry about. All of your work seems well received, even when you experiment. What I’ve heard of the Out of It demos has been really good. :)

Well I don’t get to be at the CD release party, but assuming that my pre-order was one of the ones you put in the mail the other day, I’ll be rocking out to the new album soon. I’m looking forward to it.
I don’t know the numbers, but from my ignorant viewpoint, it seems like I Don’t Know What I’m Doing did pretty well in terms of getting itself in front of people and getting play. And that was back when, well, you didn’t know what you were doing. I mean, not as much as you do now.
Plus, you’re in Rock Band, broheim! Maybe you don’t play it much, but I like that game a lot, and I am telling you, that shit is monumental.
Anyway, enjoy the vodka. And get some neosporin on that cut, or Freshie-Whip, or whatever it is you guys have in Canada.

i wanted to come and check out the party since your only a few hours away, but i cant afford to stop working now. so put on a pretty band-aid, play a kick-ass set, have a few for the rest of us!!!

I hope someone records video of the show. It’s a shame that there aren’t any really good quality live Brad Sucks clips out there.
Will either catch you out here or I’ll get out there some day.
Keep doin what you’re doin and people will keep finding you, I think.

If you wear oven mitts to bed, the odds of clawing your face off in your sleep will be greatly reduced. Either that or trim your nails, man! Best of luck with the launch party, I am sure–just like the album–it is going to be MADE OF WIN and awesome!!
