Some of the singer/songwriters I know in the DC area have essentially two live shows. One is the band setup...bass, drums, another guitar, etc. that mostly stays local. The other live show is the solo setup that can go anywhere with a lot less travel overhead. They play around solo regionally and occasionally will pop up in other places farther out when time/$ allows. I do have something to share on the live show thing.
