I'm kinda ashamed I hadn't heard you before this week; I'm finishing up a month sabbatical from work and happened upon you on the CCmixter site, I was floored, great stuff!

I'm putting up a series of ambient tracks for free on thesixtyone.

I think I sound like kind of a d-bag when I describe this stuff, but uh, it's minimal ambient, so it's slow and low. No beats, no squelchy synths. If it puts you to sleep then that's a good thing.

I've only put up the first two tracks so far, but it will soon be a 7-song album. All for free, of course. Not that I would get much if I was selling it, but hey.

I first saw Brad online around 2001, and have always admired the open source approach, including the user-set pricing. I really dig the music, too, and the way all the mixes contribute to it. I'd love to learn more about how to set my music loose like that - any suggestions?
