Whenever I want to find some new music to listen to I like going to music-map. They usually suggest a few bands I have never heard of.

If you like places like music-map or you liked the guide on Ishkur. then you would probably be interested in the music genome project.

I tried Pandora once but it seemed to think I like music that I don’t like at all but maybe was in the same key.

yes. yes. answering questions. that Pandora sure earns a visited spot for me. now that you mention it. I’m afraid I’ve been giving my interesting links to in4mador lately (so. like. 1 poor link per month). Working on it though. I’m still in tune. I remember when I had to lie about my age on the internet. and people typed correctly! Kids.

Pandora tells me that Brad Sucks features punk influences. a ‘subtle use of vocal harmony’(wha? one for the press kit). “extensive vamping”(so. like. vampire music I guess). mixed instrumentation. and “major key tonality”. I think I knew all that. right? I just usually say ‘it’s good’ when recommending.

Oh hey cool. Someone told me to send my CD off to there a while ago and I did. Guess it made its way in. I had no idea there was vamping or subtle counterpoint in my music at all.
