The melody’s really solid. Are you going direct-in with the guitars? Might want to mic them for a more natural sound, but that’s a personal decision.

Im going direct-in with them because I dont have a decent quality mic. All i have is some 5 dollarish one i found layin around my house which gets the vocals done but yeah. I wanted to go out and find a shotgun mic for recording my guitar but I dont know what would be best.
If you can offer me and tips as for good mics for vocals and/or guitar that would be nice
…and is a solid melody a good thing?
im confused of whats meant by solid

Solid’s good. As for mics, I’d start with a Shure SM57 or SM58. Those are good all-purpose mics that you’ll always have a use for.

I’m going to be straight up and say that your sound and lyrics atm really put me off. Maybe there’s a niche market for you there. Do not know what ‘Serloin Beef’s supposed to achieve lol.

the serloin beef was kinda of a joke lyric song cuz i couldnt think of anything good so i let my friend write random stuff so yea, plus im using direct in instead of mic-ing my guitar so after changing those it might be a bit better

Alright, let us know when you’ve re-recorded the songs :)

haha i will, and those were all just free styled. Like acousmix i just made the chords and started playing over it so that might be a fault of mine because re-recording is hard since i dont really remember what i played
and thanks for actually telling me what you found was wrong, it helps to have somebody actually tell me whats wrong instead of whats good so i can fix it.
