I think it’s a great idea. I’ll burn a CD and put it up here in NY as much as possible. Besides, I got a hold of your music on Pandora.com just recently. You’re obviously out there already at least. I don’t expect it’ll be too long now before you’re on waves.

What about random fans burning CDs (kind of like what Flatliner was hinting at) of Brad Sucks music and leaving them in different public places with something like “Take Me, Play Me, Kiss Me, Feel Me” written on them.

Maybe have a few tracks from I Don’t Know What I’m Doing, Outside the Inbox, and maybe a few other myriad pieces. To end it (or maybe begin it) have a track that’s Brad saying something like, “Congratulations, you’ve won the chance to hear the most awesome music in the universe.” and directions on how to get more music.

Of course, that wouldn’t equate to air time right away. But it would start a movement.

To be honest I think I wouldn’t take that CD home to begin with. But the idea sounds fun though.

As I mentioned somewhere else I’m talking to some promotion services but I have this hunch what they do is sorta worthless or at least vastly overpriced.

Anyway I’m thinking that money might be better spent sending out promo stuff to BFF’s that you can use to “spread the word”. Stickers, cards(?), etc. I think I’ll look into some items this week and price some things out.

I’d really rather give stuff to you guys than some marketing agency.

They suck, don’t spend your money there. Let’s brainstorm a bit before you go out and spend that money brad, I don’t have time now, but I’ll be back later on to throw more ideas out there.

Right on, ideas would be sweet. Really the obvious idea that I’m working on is: finish next album, put it out.

Once the new album is out there, all you have to do is get people to start street teaming. A lot of the local bands here do it, and even though I’m not exactly “local,” as long as there are things that we could “pimp” out to the common, simple-minded man, we can get them to listen to anything.

And unlike many of the bands I’ve heard of being street-teamed, Brad actually sounds decent. Great, even. People will go after whatever they are told is cool, and this stuff actually is. Good job, Brad.

There could be a vast viral marketing campaign. We could get Brad on blogs, keep him popping up on youtube, use our personal networks to get his music into radio stations and as the theme music for advertisements.

A large viral marketing campaign can be achieved if someone very execution focused was to take the time to use the community to promote Brad. Question is, who would that actually be?

i dont know if you guys know or not, on youtube there is this channel called “athenewins” and he is quite hilarious. he is getting quite popular with around 4 thousand subscribers and almost every video he plays one of brad’s songs(actually thats how i found out about brad sucks). the only problem is that in the video description he doesn’t say that the music is by brad sucks, only in their website, which seldom viewers click i think. so maybe you could ask them to recognize you in their videos or the little description.

I know that facebook is amazing. Once, I put my status as “sunshine in my brain, making everyone complain”- Brad Sucks, and tons of people asked. i know you all have FBs, and I think thats an easy way to get the word about brad out.

Ok, heres the plan

Step 1: make CD of your favorite songs from Brad
Step 2: put CD in your car -Side Note…could be someone else car, such as break into a car, put in brads CD, and leave
Step 3: Give anyone who needs a ride somewhere and blast the music and wait for them to say how much they love it.

Thats what i did on accident and a few of my friends now listen to Brad

YAY!

I’m up for putting in some effort to the high and mighty Brad Sucks cause. Even better than the free stickers idea, buy Brad a mood altering substance on site and get a badge from him and put that somewhere where it will be noticed a lot. That way we’re advertising and putting money into the BS coffers. Still awaiting mine atm :) but it’s going right on my school bag when I get it.
Aside from that, youtube is a very receptive place as already mentioned with the whole AtheneWins channel (I found Brad through that channel too). Maybe we could become one of those annoying spam people lol who just spam random porn sites and stuff. Granted those never work, but if we do it in a classy way…

Brad Sucks, check for yourself and see…

Pass it on if you agree ;)

I know I’d be like wtf and click the link lol.

I can't guarantee anything but I'll promo your music around Houston. I'll pass your CD to the owners of http://www.scoutbar.com/home.php a primer Houston concert bar with 3 Texas locations. I also run across Rod Ryan from Houston's 94.5 the buzz out on the scene from time to time. I'll do what I can to get a CD in his hands.

Brad, we play you every week on my college radio show. It’s not a big town, but I know for a fact that you have fans among the DJs. If you’re interested, we’d love to have a Brad Sucks Legal ID in rotation.

MisinforMusic: drop me a line and I can get you an ID.
