that game does took really sweet, I might get it a week or two later, but yeah, the multiplayer looks really slick, I just need more friends so we can all take down liberty city together, in harmony.

Dear Fans,
I know it’s been forever since we’ve spoken. I know I say I’ll call but I don’t. I also know I’ve said this album would be done by now. I know it’s 2009 and there’s still no new album, but in my defense I was wrapped up hardcore in GTA4. I had a lot of missions to complete and this one bitch was trippin all up in mah grill so I slapped him down and busted out with my AK-47 (the only way I roll) and showed him a little bit of my Gangsta Love (to be found in the misc section of my music page). Sp seriously, don’t be hatin’ on the playa. Hate on the developa for makin such a fine piece of interactive media…

I’ve been on the fringe of excitement for this game. On one hand I wasn’t a fan of GTA3 or it’s two spawns. On the other, I loved the first two games and I’ve been inundated with a myriad of gaming news on this game. Soooooo…. I’m guessing I should just man up and buy the game because I’ll probably enjoy it. Plus I’m curious as to how this new online multiplayer will work.
If anyone else on the forums grabs this game and wants to try some multiplayer on Xbox Live, the sn is Outsyder.

I didn’t play GTA3 at the time (no console). Vice City was great on the PC. Then I played San Andreas and it was OK but too large, scattered, a lot of dumb gameplay ideas.
Vice City was just about perfect and everything I read about GTA4 indicates they’re heading more in that direction. One big city you can kick ass in rather than a whole bunch of cities you never really get the feel for.
Multiplayer has got to kick ass.

OK, I may have played this game for about 20 minutes yesterday and it may have been a lot of fun.
During one flight from the cops (who are much more aggressive in this game, and much smarter) I veer off the road, onto a streetside basketball court, and directly at a crowd of players, who all turn to look at me as I bear down on them. Sitting in my friend’s tiny apartment, I yell “YOU GUYS WANT TO GET A PICKUP GAME GOING?!” and then run directly into them.
In a pickup.
Bodies cartwheel everywhere, my friend does a spit take, my wanted level goes up, all that jazz.
Welcome back to Liberty City.

I’ve been playing GTA most of the day. So far it’s pretty good. I’m a little pissed off about the new driving “feel”, I feel like a gimp and it’s pretty frustrating. I may just need more time with it, but it’s pretty aggravating chasing dudes right now with the controls so squirrelly.
Also the missions so far have been super duper repetitive, but hopefully that’ll change and also I’ll get better at driving so I’m not angry all the time.

I figured out what my deal with the driving was, the camera was in too close to the bumper for me. Hitting “back” a couple times fixed it, hooray!

I haven’t got GTA IV yet but I definitly will. But I don’t want to play it on my pc cause I think GTA on a pc will suck. So I’ll have to get an xbox or a PS3 along with it. Wich one should I take? Please tell me what you would do right now and why. Thanks in advance.
Btw Brad, if you didn’t get the feel for San Andreas’s cities I’ll honestly have to say I think you haven’t played it enough. But maybe my opinion is just different from other peoples about these games, just like I think GTA3 had the most awesome mafia-feeling and while exept for the new bike and chopper abilities Vice City was a bit dissapointing because it was smaller than expected and you still couldn’t manage to stay alive in water wich was pretty lame and more things like that. I think San Andreas totally filled in all these empty spots and was just about perfect. Not to mention car-tuning, a mountain, great plane flying and so on. But maybe I’m just crazy.
Anyway I know I’ll love GTA IV and I hope to get it soon along with one of the consoles.
PS. What is a lock box and do I want to get that?
PPS. Brad I can’t wait to hear your new album.
