The special edition of GTA IV comes with a lock box, the soundtrack, and some other stuff:

I don’t know know about not playing it enough — I finished San Andreas, not sure how much more I was supposed to play it. :) I did go back and replay it a while ago and it was a bit more fun. I cheated to turn off all the gang war stuff which I found irritating, so that fixed thangs up.

Did some online, it was very fun, I think there’s potential for a lot of good times there. The free internet in my apartment kept cutting out whenever I would join a game lobby, which was, well, that was just a real treat.

But I did finally manage to get in a raid on a biker club with a couple friends. Explosions, running for cover, suppressing fire, car chases, it’s all there. I can’t wait to try a little team deathmatch.

Sweet, I want to do online but I’m gonna avoid it to prevent spoilers until I get a bit further in the game. I don’t want everything shown to me at once.

Dammit, I want to get this game so I know what EVERY LIVING SOUL AROUND ME is talking about. I’m being barraged at work, through friends, and online, but I don’t want to pick the game up till I finish watching the first three seasons of the new Battlestar Galactica (I’m experiencing this one for the first time).

I’m in Japan, and a friend is bringing me my copy /this/ week. Meanwhile my entire Friends list on my 360 is playing GTA IV almost exclusively. It’s a slow-burn kind of pain.

I noticed on the Xbox Live everyone’s all up in GTA 4, pretty funny.

WANT
…but I live in a country where consoles are not supported and every single media-related thing costs at least twice more than in the USA (for example: a regular album costs 25 dollars; a double album costs 35; a PlayStation 2 game – 75 in the best case).
Well, I’m slightly more than two years short of being mature anyway – by ESRB’s definition of “mature”. It’s not like I went berserk after playing Vice City and San Andreas for about 300 hours each (without exaggerating), and it’s not like ESRB even exists here, but at least that’s an excuse.
I’m glad to see that the game’s more popular than Halo 3, though. Viva la third-person shooters.

So I got a chance to tool around with the game the other night at my buddy’s bachelor party (thats how hardcore nerdy we are). The driving does feel a bit loose, but the game seems pretty fun from the 30 minutes that I played. Didn’t do any missions, just stole cars, crashed into this, and bowled. Now that I know there’s a comedy club with real comedians, tv shows, and a fake internet to boot, I’m more intrigued by this game now.

My copy arrives tonight, in all its glory. Too bad I can’t catch “GTA-fluenza”…

I just got my Xbox back yesterday (RRoD’d a week ago and I had GTA4 sitting here, unable to be played :(), and I think it’s really amazing. The driving is a bit weird, but after I got used to it I like it a lot. Brad, do yourself a favor and just jump into multi-player, it’s way too fun to miss. BTW, what’s your XBL gamertag? I’m severely lacking in the online friends department, and random match-ups usually drop more often than not. Mine is Ranmastrix if anyone wants to add me.

I’m “chillbaron” on Xbox Live. I just unlocked the last area in single player so I might be ready for multiplayer now.

Im pretty sure one of my favorite things in multiplayer is getting a bunch of friends and see if we can make it to a 6 star rating. I havent made it yet.
