I saw on these forums a while back something about compressing the hell out of a Drum mp3file or such to make it so the drums get that…being hit really hard sound…
anyways i was wondering if someone could tell me how to do this

Basically if you load up a compression plugin, crank the ratio up and then pull the threshold down until it starts doing its magic, that should do it. If there’s an option for auto make-up gain you may want to hit that as well.
