Hey guys, I’m new ’round these parts. And to remixing, for that matter. Very new, I should add. I’m impressed with the remixes I’ve heard and would like to give it a go myself. That brings me to ask, which programs (preferrably of the Mac-compatible variety) do you use to make remixes? Do you have to incorporate actual instruments? My experience is veeery limited as you can probably tell… I have none except for having whipped up a few tolerable tunes in FruityLoops a few years ago.
So yes, programs with which I can produce some hip jams? Thanks if you can help me out!

You can use basically any multitracker. I understand Garageband’s good on the Mac for simple straightforward stuff. Ableton Live is a hardcore one that a lot of people use but it can be a bit more humbling if you’re a beginner.
