brad…lol, is it programs on my computer, my computer, or my equipment that makes a clear sound. Like obviously all artists music is nice and clean but just recoding with my pre-amp into my computer dosent really give me a clean sound….lots of fuzziness, i was wondering what i should do for a clean sound?
i dont care if its a program that costs money actually or something to buy, im just looking for good quality?
all help appreciated
-i have an Ibanez Xiphos
-a Boss ME-50 Pedal Board
-Boss Equalizer Pedal with Pre-Amp
-….and Reaper, lol, for recording
thought that might help

forgot to mention some Microphone my friend brought over, pretty crappy but that isnt the problem i guess.
P.S.
lol, You encouraged me to start recoding, its cool to do, see what you can make with people but people dont seem to take you as serious with bad quality.

Well you have to:
use quality stuff, cables
hv some serious music card/mixer and generally studio stuff
and also ofc good eq and edition of records…
Not easy… at all… But if You feel passion… Try…

Well, if you get yourself entry level setup. Audio card, pre-amp and microphone, you should be fine. Make sure you’re recording at high enough levels that you’re not losing signal.

Get a[nother] sound card, no question. I think M-Audio have some good ones, though they look expensive to me and I don’t know of any other manufacturers.
