Hey,

I’m just beginning to delve into the horrifyingly wonderful world of recording/mixing and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some books worth checking out. I know there are countless books on the subject, but if anybody knows of anything worthwhile then please share!

I remember liking the Mixing Engineer’s Handbook, the Musician’s Guide to Home Recording is good but pre-dates most of the digital stuff you’ll be using.

My favorites are these Basic books.

It depends on your skill level, I found my needs changed as I learned.
