Anyone have any techniques out there for recording vocals or guitar, bass, ect…

like Brads doubling up on vocals and taking the low frequency all the way out.

Guitars I always double track. Play the same line or riff twice, then pan one take hard left, and the other hard right. Makes it sound fuller. You don’t have to do it hard left/right, but I like that stereo sound personally.

To vocals add a little delay going with the beat..

Brad have you any tips?

I do what Floyd does. Most of the time I record a few takes of guitars and mix them together to fill it out a bit.

Bass I just compress the hell out of it, but I’m not totally happy with my bass sounds.
