I was looking for legally free music to put in a video. I was searching on creativecommons.org, where they have lotsa legally free music. Most of it was crap, I soon discovered, but a few pages in, I found I Don’t Know What I’m Doing and heard Making Me Nervous, and I knew I had to have the song, even if I wasn’t going to use it in the movie. I hit the download button, which actually downloaded a zip of the entire album. I figured what the hell, I’ll listen to them all, and so I did. Making Me Nervous quickly became my most listened to song on iTunes, and it still is. Then I knew I had to be able to listen to Brad Sucks on the go. So I ran out and bought a $400 MP3 player. Actually, I already owned the MP3 player, but if I hadn’t, I would have bought one anyways for the express purpose of listening to Brad Sucks music. I can honestly say that I Don’t Know What I’m Doing contains my favorite 12 songs of all time. Once, while I was mowing the lawn, I listened to nothing but I Don’t Know What I’m doing, over and over again… like 6 times in a row. And I still didn’t get sick of it! I so can’t wait for Out Of It!!!!! I’ll HAVE to do a preorder! Every day… every hour… every minute early counts!
